About The Guild
Welcome to the Patuxent Lapidary Guild
History
The Patuxent Lapidary Guild (PLG) was established in 1959 to promote the art of making jewelry using precious metals and gemstones. The Guild provides classes in four major disciplines of the lapidary field: Cabochon cutting, silver smithing, lost wax casting, and faceting.
Meetings
General membership meetings are held from 7 – 9 PM on the third Monday of each month. We welcome you to attend our monthly general membership meetings. Come out and learn how to facet, make cabochons, do silver smithing, casting, and related lapidary arts.
