I’ve been busy working on my pages for the project participants. Here’s what I have sent out since my last update… This went out to Cristina at the beginning of March And this one went to Leanne in California (this wonderful altered book project was her brilliant idea!) I have also received some [...] Last night I received an email that one of my favorite shops in Historic Ellicott City, Maryland was reopening in a new location. I couldn’t wait to stop in and check things out. Kelli, the owner is a really sweetie and so very talented. You may remember my sitting room redo from this [...] The dictionary defines Karma as how the effects of a person’s actions determine his or her destiny. I rather envision it as attempting to surround myself with positive and creative people, whose energy will then affect me in positive and creative ways. One such soul I have been able to spend time with is Robin. [...] It came unexpectedly – a large package from my brother in the Midwest. And inside…… A vintage scrapbook, lovingly put together by a garden enthusiast. Dating from the 1940′s through the 70′s, it includes clippings of ideas, articles on gardens clubs, photos of gardens she would like to have… A glimpse [...] The dates are announced! Registration will begin sometime in April. I can’t wait to learn the details of who’s teaching and what the classes will be. Anyone out in blog-land thinking of going this year? |
