The vintage crinolines from last week’s auction adventure are all washed – final count 53!! Totally amazing. Here’s what they looked like all nice and clean – piled on the guest room bed. The auctioneer decided to sell all these beauties as one lot.
How could I possibly say no?

I am spending the day washing up this frothy fabulousness.
My daughter is enthusiastically assisting (she has her eye on some of the green ones to wear over jeans!)

I picked up this beauty the other day at a local antique mall- perfect for spring, don’t you think?
I was so very pleased with this find, it caused me to ponder what it is about vintage handbags that make them so appealing?  Carrying  such a bag can subtly announce a mood…..
Whimsical?
Romantic?
Sophisticated?
Perhaps it is the  connection [...]
